RTD’s newest data acquisition boards meet the difficult task of accurately collecting a wide range of analog signals in varying environments. RTD’s Autonomous SmartCal® can, with a single command from the host, adjust for all range and gain offsets in less than 300 ms, compensating for all temperature dependent analog errors. The Autonomous SmartCal® algorithm is stored in an on-board DSP and is operating system independent. On-board external Flash and internal DSP memory give the customer the ability to even create user specific applications harnessing the TI2812 series DSP functionality, allowing data pre-processing which in turn saves valuable CPU time. The Advanced Digital I/O (aDIO®) port provides the user with 18 bits of digital I/O. Match, event, and strobe interrupt modes mean no more wasting valuable processor time polling digital inputs.
