The CMx-BTx is a new PC/104 form factor Single Board Computer running an Intel® Atom™ E38xx Processor. With choices of single to quad-core processors running from 1.33 GHz to 1.91 GHz and SO-DIMMs up to 4GB DDR3L at 1066/1333 MHz, the new ADLINK CMx-BTx delivers top-of-the-line performance with efficient power consumption that targets Industrial Automation, Transportation, Energy and Military applications requiring industrial-grade stability.
The CMx-BTx is suitable for harsh environments. It is designed to withstand 50G shock and 12G vibration per MIL-STD-202F. Some models will support the extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
The ADLINK CMx-BTx family offers various bus type options. PC/104, PC/104-Plus and PCI-104 models are available. Each SBC supports VGA and 18/24 bit single/dual channel LVDS. The CMx-BTx features up to two Gigabit Ethernet ports, up to two SATA or one SATA and one mSATA ports, one USB 3.0/2.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, up to four RS232/485 COM ports, 8 GPIOs, and an HD Audio interface.
The CMx-BTx is designed for stationary systems with application scenarios ranging from industrial automation, medical, testing and measurement to transportation and digital signage, and is especially suited for systems requiring high performance graphics. Paired with ADLINK’s SEMA Cloud (Smart Embedded Management Agent) device-to-cloud platform that enables remote monitoring, control and management, the CMx-BTx is an ideal building block for developing IoT devices with a secure connection to the cloud.
The ADLINK CMx-BTx–with built-in SEMA Cloud functionality–is ready-made for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. CMx-BTx is able to connect legacy industrial devices and other IoT systems to the cloud, extract raw data from these devices, determine which data to save locally and which to send to the cloud for further analysis. The results of these analyses can provide valuable information for policy decision making and generate innovative business opportunities.
