The Eurotech COM-1274 is a fully RoHS compliant PC/104 module specifically developed for performing advanced communication tasks in embedded systems.

It features 8 independent asynchronous serial channels and up to two Control Area Network (CAN) ports. For flexibility and high-speed transmission, the board’s 16C550C serial ports operate at up to 115 Kbaud and are configured in pairs via software as RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485.

The CAN interface supports the “CAN extended frame” mesasge format (CAN 2.0B protocol). In order to meet the demands of high reliability in industrial environment, an optically isolated RS485 physical CAN interface option is available.
