M-Max 820 EP-USO

The M-Max 820 EP4/USO consists of two high performance rugged industrial computers with passive cooling. It is designed to provide reliable operation using ‘2 out of 2’ or redundant architectures in harsh environments for critical applications.

Providing shock and vibration protection, the M-Max 820 EP4/USO can operate under extreme temperatures from −40 to +60 °C, dust and humidity.

Data storage options include vibration proof industrial SSDs with RAID functionality (sofware or hardware option).

The computer is used as a part of a safety system at railroad and operate as an optical time-domain reflectometer.

  • Video: Intel HD 530 integrated controller, supports up to 2 displays with resolution up to 4096 x 2304 @ 60 Hz (4K UHD)
  • I/O: 2x 10/100/1000 Base-T, 2x RS232, 4x USB 3.0
  • Special features: watchdog timer
  • Power: +10 to +33 V DC (isolated), AC adapter ~100 to 240 V (optional)
  • Power consumption: 65 W
  • Enclosure: aluminum enclosure, passive cooling system (no fans)
  • Mechanical (W x H x L) (whole system): 480 x 173 x 241 mm (without end caps and connectors)
  • Operating temperature: -40 to +60 °C, complies with MIL-STD-810G (High temp. method 501.5, Low temp. method 502.5, Procedure I, II)
  • Operating humidity: 5 to 95 % at +25 °C, non-condensing
  • Vibration: operating acceleration amplitude up to 2.5g (3–500 Hz), complies with MIL-STD-810G (Method 514.6, Procedure I, Category 14)
  • Shock: maximum peak shock acceleration up to 40g (11 ms), complies with MIL-STD-810G (Method 516.6, Procedure V)
