M-Max VI EP4 – High performance Rugged Industrial Computer

Rugged high performance computer for tough environments. The M-Max VI EP4 enclosure is designed according to the VITA 75 footprint and can be mounted on different vehicle types. Lightweight compact sealed case with patented fanless heat dissipation resists contamination and humidity.

Providing shock and vibration protection, the M-Max VI EP4 can operate under extreme temperatures (-40 to +60 °C). Computing power is in the high-end desktop class. The embedded power supply complies with MIL-STD-704F specification.

The system was previously known as M-Max 871 EP4.

  • All connectors are IP67
  • Power: +10 to +36 V DC (isolated) or +18 to +75 V DC (isolated), complies with MIL-STD-704F AC adapter ~100 to 240 V (optional)
  • Power Consumption: 55 W
  • Enclosure: aluminum enclosure, passive cooling system (no fans)
  • Mechanical (W x H x L): 284.48 x 57.8 x 188 mm, VITA 75 footprint (8 x 14 VU) (without end caps and connectors)
  • Operating temperature: -20 to +55 °C, -40 to +60 °C (option), complies with MIL-STD-810G (High temp. method 501.5, Low temp. method 502.5, Procedure I, II)
  • Operating humidity: 5 to 95 % at +25 °C, non-condensing
  • Vibration: operating acceleration amplitude up to 2.5g (3–500 Hz), complies with MIL-STD-810G (Method 514.6, Procedure I, Category 14)
